The Dream Run 5K is a new event for the entire family that features a beautiful certified 5K course, great food and great family entertainment and activities. The event, which will be held in Southcreek Office Park at 132nd Street and Metcalf in Overland Park on Sunday, August 22 at 7:30am, benefits The Dream Factory and Johnson County Housing Coalition.
All participants will receive race shirts and chip-timed results and will be eligible for raffle prizes from local merchants. Awards will be given to the top runners in each age group, the top overall male and female winners and the masters division winners. There will also be a Dream Run Kids Run – a short fun run in two heats for kids from 1 to 4 and from 5 to 8 years old.
